Black Elephant Hostel is a colorful, eccentric hostel. The goal of the rebrand was to create a flexible and dynamic system emphasizing the quirky vibrant rooms and inspiring exploration and freedom to ponder. To promote a sense of travel, abstract ink splotches imitating the topography of shorelines are a cornerstone of the visual language.
A flexible Visual design language was crucial to the hostel’s culture, a dynamic character that evolves with its travelers.
